NTA DU Non-Teaching Genuine Candidates through Exam VS Contractual Employees :- Today we are here to discuss about the situation arising between the students who are studying very hard to crack the various non-teaching post versus the staff who are contractual and working in non-teaching post in various Delhi University departments.

Main problem of our system is that Govt. are hiring contract workers do the official work with less wages and no other allowances. And by this the contractual employees are exploited very much. But one thing for sure they are Not Permanent.

Here we are discussing a comparison between two categories of employees in the context of Non-Teaching roles at Delhi University (DU). Let me break down the terms mentioned:

  1. NTA DU Non-Teaching Genuine Candidates through Exam: This refers to candidates who have applied for non-teaching positions at Delhi University through a selection process that typically involves an examination. These candidates are evaluated based on their performance in the exam, and those who meet the criteria and perform well are considered for employment.
  2. Contractual Employees: Contractual employees are individuals hired for a specific period of time under a contract that outlines the terms of their employment. These terms can include the duration of the contract, the job responsibilities, and compensation. Contractual employees are not permanent staff and usually serve the organization for a fixed period.

This is clear by the above definition but Contractual workers are demanding permanent status which is not possible. Because they have a fixed tenure means they can never be permanent apart if they qualify the exams through regular process.

Due to this contractual workers are on strike which stopped the current process of NTA DU Non- Teaching exam. This is not a legit procedure and it is illegal to stop the process.

The aspirants who are studying very hard to get this job are very much demotivated and very angry by this and they are also saying if the contractual workers will get permanent status then they will go to court for this because they are genuine aspirants and their life are totally depend on this vacancies. They are fighting for permanent spot through a genuine process of exams, skills test & more and not by only interview for a specific period of time.

I am here for genuine candidates who are spending money for registering in these vacancies, then travelling way too far to center for examinations in high and low, then waiting for results and after that skill test, descriptive test, and then joining which is a normal procedure to pass the exams apart from the contractual workers who get post only by interview. This should not be done. The Delhi University has to interfere in this matter because no one is wrong here. Everyone is fighting for their right. But think about the genuine candidates who are suffering because of this.
